Lott #GivingTuesday Recap: Tremendous Success!

Lott #GivingTuesday Recap: Tremendous Success! Image

On Tuesday, November 28, 2017, people across the world were inspired to celebrate generosity for this year’s #GivingTuesday.

Lott was excited to join in this global giving moment that kicks off the holiday giving season. #GivingTuesday inspires people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.

Why did Lott Join #GivingTuesday?

We are here to serve you, local businesses, people with developmental disabilities and other barriers to employment, and ultimately, our local community.

And we wanted to give the entire community to the chance to help enhance and enrich people’s lives, too!

This is because it is by working together that we can truly make a difference.

Results: Tremendous Success Thanks to People in Our Community!

Thanks to the support of our community, we are pleased to announce that we raised $5,500 for this year’s #GivingTuesday campaign!

We are honored for all of the support we received from Lott supporters and advocates who truly care about those we serve.

We thank everyone who donated this year for all they did to assist Lott in providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities and other barriers to employment.

Your generosity and thoughtfulness are truly appreciated by all of us – volunteers, employees, and staff alike.

What’s Next?

All of the money we raised for #GivingTuesday this year will transform the lives of those we serve. Donations will help…

• An individual with a disability or another barrier gain meaningful employment
• Support programs that enhance daily living skills and provide enrichment opportunities
• Secure transportation to work for individuals
• The Shared Lives studio, which encourages artists with developmental disabilities and provides opportunities for them to learn and expand their skills to produce, display, and sell art pieces

Again, thank you for your support!
